Get Healthy.

The Well Racine initiative is a community-wide health project to obtain recognition of Racine, Wisconsin as a "Well City" by the Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA). The initiative started as a sustainable Leadership Racine team project in January 2008. Well Racine is a part of Well CityUSA, a national initiative of WELCOA to create a healthier American workforce by engaging business communities to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees.

The Well Racine Task Force is comprised of community leaders spearheading this wellness project within the Racine business community. The participating Racine employers have united in their commitment to each being awarded the "Well Workplace" designation by WELCOA.

By joining the Well Racine initiative, your company commits to using WELCOA's Well Workplace Process. The process provides a business with a blueprint to help the organization build and sustain a results-orientated wellness program.

Once the Well Workplace Process is in place, led by a company mentor, the company may apply for a Well Workplace Award. Today, over 1,000 companies have received the prestigious Well Workplace Award.
